What would you name them? Would you keep their Japanese names or give them an entire new set? Would you try to make their English names sound similar to their Japanese names? Would you have a special reason for naming them?
I'd probably keep them all, except change Serena to Selena to make it sound more moon-y. And I'd give Hotaru an English name, because her's being the only Japanese name is strange.

I'd keep the japanese names, regardless of what language... but if I had to change their names in the dub I'd choose better names than Lita, Amara, and Darien

If I could, I would keep the Japanese. If I couldn't, I would try and aim for very similar English names, or ones that are as close in meaning as possible to the original names.

I'm sorry, but Lita and Amara are some pretty lame names... Darien wasn't as bad as I make it sound out to be as "Shields" is a pretty close translation to his name.
Two other names I hated, Rini *shudders* and Melvin. Seriously Umino had to get a stereotypical name? I can tolerate Molly to an extent

Haha, I loved Molly's accent.
It was so funny reading the mangas and novel adaptions of the episodes and reading her dialogue with her accent in my head.

Haha, I remember opening the first volume of the manga when I got it for Christmas and reading through it, only to find that damn accent in my head whenever she talked.

I tried talking in all the character's normal voices when I read their lines, and sometimes it was hard, but never with Molly!

I stated this in another thread, but I think there's an easy fix for a certain character's dub name... drop an "I".
