I just kinda roll with the thought that since she is pretty much capable of breaking and bending all rues of space-time just because she's so heavily affiliated with it.
Anyway, new mythos? New mythos!
Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne were both characters that were exclusive to the manga. Both are named after rivers in Greek mythology. Spirits would drink from the river Lethe to forget their past lives, and those who drank from the river Mnemosyne were said to know everything. In the manga, Sailor Moon falls into the River of Oblivion that Lethe is ferrying the group across, thus losing most all of her memories. Mnemosyne was the one who restored her memories.
On that note, I'll discuss Chaos. In Greek mythology, Chaos refers to the state of the universe before it came into being - a formless void of nothingness. Many religions have adopted this term to refer to pre-creation of the universe. Chaos is a lack of order and predictability, and in many tales, there are epic battles between a hero and a chaos monster. Cosmos is seen as the antithesis of Chaos - and most of us are probably at least a little aware of Sailor Cosmos.

Seeing as how I never read the manga, I had no idea either. However, I remember Stars, so I definitely remember Chaos/Cosmos thing.

Star Maker? Unless you're referring to a one of the Starlights, then I have no idea what you're talking about there. Lethe and Mnemosyne were affiliated with the bad guys kind of reluctantly and out of necessity - they were mostly neutral and were only attacking Sailor Moon and the others because they just wanted to be left alone to do as they pleased. Siding with Galaxia was the only way they would be allowed to stay together alive.
Tonight, I present you with a couple of things just to revive the thread a bit. Next time, I will probably cover more villain related mythos.
There is a Chinese legend about a woman named Chang'e and a man named Houyi. There's a couple different variations on the story of the two. The formula is basically the same for both - Chang'e was sent down from the heavens for one reason or another to live as a mortal, but ends up meeting and falling in love with Houyi. Ten suns somehow wind up in the sky, but Houyi uses his superior archery skills to shoot down all but one (which is now our sun). Eventually, he seeks out a way to be immortal - which is that of a pill. He is warned not to take the whole thing, as only a half is needed to obtain immortality. Chang'e ends up swallowing the whole thing, usually because she was taking a gander at it after Houyi expressly forbid her from doing so. Because of the pill, she ends up floating up to the moon, where she lives out all of eternity with none for a companion but a lonely rabbit (in one tale, a treecutter also lives there). A lone woman on the moon, without a husband around ... sound familiar? That's about where it ends, though, since it's explicitly stated in the series by Queen Serenity that she's the Selene referred to in Greek legends.
In Japan, the inner group of planets are associated with elements thanks to the names. Mercury is the planet of water, Mars the planet of fire, Jupiter of wood, and Venus of metal. Some of their attacks reference associations with mythology, but their elements are primarily derived from these names.

If this the woman you're referring to: That's Princess Kakyuu, I think. She the one the Starlights are all talking about. This is Galaxia:

Kakyuu was MIA for most of the season, and the Starlights were searching for her. That said, they didn't really ever team up since there was a lot of animosity between Sailormoon's crew and them, especially with the outers. It wasn't until near the end that the groups found any sort of semblance of teamwork.
As I promised, a villain-related bite of mythology,
I'm not entirely sure if Takeuchi-sensei was intentional with this, but the links are a bit too strong to simply brush it off. Queen Nehellenia was the main antagonist of the SuperS/Dream Arc series, and was ruler of the Dead Moon. If I recall correctly, she was posed as an opposite, dark mirror image of Queen Serenity. In the manga, the Dead Moon has control of a flying ship, and due to various storyline elements depending on if you're rolling with anime or manga versions, she is often framed inside of her mirror. There is a goddess called Nehalennia, who is either of Germanic or Celtic origin. She's often depicted standing at the prow of a ship, and the few pieces of art I've seen of her depict her framed by pillars which kind of mirrors Nehellenia's ... uh, mirror and wow that was bad wording. One source says that Nehalennia was sometimes referred to as "Nether Moon," another parallel to Nehellenia being considered as part of the dark, or new, moon.
