why does the star under my name be "shiney gold" when i'm offline? cause when i'm online....the color of the star will be "gold but not the shiney type....it's another type of gold. (if you guys know what i'm talking about.) can someone explain to me why. i will appreciate the help.

um, I have no idea... that sounds like something our lovely webmaster/lead admin might know. I would have to have access to the actual board controls. (the site design)

oh, kk. and are you talking about "galaxia" when you said that ----> webm/lead admin? she is over the site right? and k. if you ask me.....this is strange....*scratches head* x.x does yours do that too? (the color of yours is "shiney blue" when you're online, i think.) what color is yours when you're offline?

I don't know... I think it's still the same color, maybe it's supposed to be like a light (turned on when you are online and turned off when you log out)

but when i'm offline....the shiney gold light will show on the star.
and when i'm online....the star isn't shining, it'll just just be a darkish looking gold star. i'll show you, i'll paste it to you if i can. is that ok? and ah, kk. :3

hmmm... that's odd, well I still think my theory stands. I always see a shining star, so it might just be the site telling you when you're logged in or not. Regardless I see stars shining for everyone.

Yours looks the same "shiny" color to me, even when you're offline.

might be just different for each user (we aren't all using the same operating system or internet browser after all)... My stars are blue, they always stay the same way.

@ ahknee. why are you doing your own check? >.o in order for you to see what i'm talking about you should click my link i have up when i was showing yagami. =/ *confused* and my star isn't shiney when i'm online, they're both gold yeah, but they're different. like i told yagami....when i'm online, my star isn't shiney gold, but when i'm offline....it is. maybe galaxia will know what i'm talking about. i'll ask her whenever she gets on cause i'm so confused right now. >.<
@ yagami. yes, your stars are blue, this is strange to me though....yours shiney blue when i'm online.....but mines isn't shining when i'm online....mines only shines when i'm offline. i dun understand this.....like i told aknee, maybe galaxia will know what i'm talking about. i'll see whenever she gets on. i'm very confused right now. -_-

Ah, lemme clarify: I checked to see if anyone else's stars (... namely mine) look similar to the ones you linked to whenever someone is online or offline. For you, when you're offline, your stars look that "shiny" color to me, but they also look the same when you're online to me.

Like I said it might be the browser (Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc...) or the operating system (windows, mac, linux)... We don't all run the same machines.

@ aknee. i have no clue whats going on then....cause i'm seeing something different. -_- even yagami's stars is shining when he's offline...but mine isn't. *sigh*
@ yagami. i dunno what type of browser you guys are using but....i'm using "safari". =o and i'm using my big sis' dell desktop. and oh....k.

All the stars look the same to me also. Maybe it's a browser issue then? As long as there are actually stars displaying, I take it as a good sign  |

Yeah, it might be how safari displays everything... I am using IE (Internet Explorer) on Windows XP. The Operating system may not matter so much as the browser.
