Doesn't that mean that all the crazy, unexplained theories could all be true?

... the thing is, I really don't think all the crazy and unexplained theories should be considered true.

I think if Takeuchi didn't feel like explaining it, then perhaps it wasn't meant to be. Plus its not extremely important to the storyline, I mean I guess it kinda is, but not too big of a deal

I'm actually curious: Would you rather a story writer explain everything, even if it's a cop-out, or do you like some endings left hanging?

Depends on the story I suppose... I didn't like the fact that J.K. Rowling told everyone Dumbledore was gay, honestly who cares? It doesn't really change the series, at least not to me.
But for Sailor Moon I would enjoy knowing a couple of things, like does Chibiusa pick Peruru or Helios, or who is Princess Serenity's father. I guess its rather trivial and doesn't really add anything just like the HP thing, but still it would be nice

Yeah, it does depend on the story. Some things are left to be meant hanging for interpretation and guessing while others are made to just be told and explained.

I'm kind of the same way myself. Stories like "A Series of Unfortunate Events" were meant to leave you hanging... as annoying as it was, it still worked for the series.

I know, but the ending made me cringe at first. I was so mad that nothing god explained until I realized, "Oh, that's the best part. You're not supposed to know."

I didn't really like the ending... perhaps just bc I didn't want the series to end. I grew rather attached to them.

I know the feeling. Which is probably why I initially hated the ending.

Kind of like how Serena had other tiny crushes but of course she ended up with Darien.

I agree. Peruru was far too minor of a character overall compared to Helios; moreover, Peruru seemed more like some silly little childhood crush compared to the whole Helios ... thing ... in general.

*Blacklily13 prefers Peruru to Helios, but that be because of the fact that she wasn't fond of SuperS
