Fffffttt that would be odd to see ... then again, the Japanese version was bizarre anyway, sooo.
I'd willingly play a villain if they had casting xDD

no, I do not think an english live action would be a good idea... especially not an american one.
Pure and simple, none of the general public even remembers the series and more than likely people who don't fit the characters will be cast... I do not want to see a bastardization of the series I worshipped for 10+ years

I think it would be a good idea if done right. If they followed the Japanese script and didn't add no "Sailor Says" at the end, I would watch it. I think it makes more sense to have someone who actually has blue eyes and blond hair to play Sailor Moon :-P I never got why they all looked European when they all lived in Japan.

Remember kids, always study hard in school so you don't flunk tests like me!
Remember kids, always take other people's feelings into consideration. Don't talk about others behind their back!

Eh, I think the last company who had Sailor Moon did a pretty good job. But they made the show for children because cartoons aren't really a teenager-y thing here in America. Though I wish they just kept the basic plot and dubbed it normal and threw it on Adult Swim with the other animes, but I guess they thought it would appeal to kids more.

Cloverway = Toei USA
Adult Swim (circa 2000?) = turner network's hellspawn of decent anime and crappy comedy
To be honest, I don't think adult swim would be a fitting place for sailor moon... cartoon network in general is trying to phase out anime

Yeah, I've noticed. Ever since Toonami went away, the anime seemed to go too I don't see why though. Anime is still pretty popular.

anime takes too much money away from american animation... or so we are to believe, I refuse to let anime become a scapegoat for our economy

Well, American animation sucks, so I can understand why. There's barely a good plot and the drawings are TERRIBLE.

even with hybrid shows like Avatar: the Last Airbender and Teen Titans... anime triumphs, nothing compares to the original and I'm sorry to say that hybrids don't work as well as you want.
