I found a Sailor Moon and a Venus doll at Zenkaikon... didn't buy them for... well, obvious reasons. They are creepy and too expensive (~$25-$30)

About 3 weeks ago, and I didn't buy them because I didn't have enough money... plus, they kinda creeped me out.

Believe it or not, I brought my first SM manga last year when I was 17. As a kid my parents never let me own any SM merchandise/buy any of the mangas. They were stingy. I used to dream of owning some sort of Luna plushie or cheap plastic transformation brooch! I heard Kodansha were re-releasing the mangas, so I bought the first volume last year on Amazon...with my own money! It was like £6, which is around $9. Seeing it arrive made me the happiest I've been in a while. :')

I bet you were ecstatic when it arrived. I remember when I tore into my Christmas gifts one year, the first volume of the Tokyopop edition was staring me in the face and I was super happy.
