... all the textbook talk reminds me of my middle school years, wherein teachers forced students to make book covers from paper bags. Decorating them was hella fun. I still remember how to make them! Also, kept my textbooks pristine. I took good care of those bitches.

Heh. Ahknee, I remember that, but I went and bought Book Sox for them... don't care if they're bad for the binding; I still have, like, 5 more of them.
And yeah, I think I'll rent them.

Aah I never liked those book sox things they looked so ugly to me ;A; Besides, there was something about being able to constantly doodle on my own book covers whenever I got bored in class. Beautifullll.

Ohh I remember that too! They were so adamant about making you cover them. But in high school, they didn't care. I don't understand why. I've used the same Book Sox since middle school. Finally, no more of that next year

Ha yeah in high school it was like "oh just don't break them" and that was that.
Also, nope, don't have anything from middle school and I couldn't tell you where any of that crap is.

Ahknee, people still doodled on their book sox. Although, it was fun at the end of the year watching people put them on their feet and slide down the hall... and fall on their asses. Lol.
Princess, yes. It does cost money to rent, but it's not nearly as much.
Galaxia-sama, so have I. I still have some... not sure what to do with them though.

It costs a lot less than when you actually buy the book.

Renting what books? I got kinda lost and I'm too lazy to go back and read everything. Are we talking about renting school books or manga?
I always thought colleges should let students rent books and make them pay a fee. The college would make more money, and the students would save money.

And they do. I just rented 2/3 of my textbooks for this semester and it costed half of what you'd pay if you bought it brand new.
