That's great to hear Lily... n_n do you actually help your sims or do you make them suffer?
There isn't really a way to "beat" the sims, you just play til your sim or family achieve their goals. You could be cruel and cause them suffering as well.

Well, I have two young women living in a house by themselves. I made it, like, four floors... and I really want them to patch up their relationship and adopt a child, but the one needs a job. One's named Lily (modeled after me), and she wants to be an illustrious author, and her partner's Evelyn (such a pretty name) who wants to be the Empress of Evil. So, yeah.

Satori... the guy I've modeled to be myself, is always destined to be a writer and live in the cheapest houses I can muster. I turned aging off because I hate having to start over.

I know you can in the console versions... not so sure about the PC, I would think it originated from the PC version.

You can make people live alone if they are adults or young adults only... so you have to have a sibling who is older than a teenager in order to have siblings living together. My brother has a family that is just the older brother and younger sister (adult and teen)

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! I found my copy of The Sims 2, which my boyfriend gave me for Christmas last year. I set up a family already. I've got my boyfriend and me as Sims, and we both are trying for a baby. In fact, as soon as I got the house set up (2 floors) I had them try for a baby. ^___^ *crosses fingers*

sounds like a lot of work... hope you've planned ahead, it's extremely difficult if you have both parents working high paying jobs. I never get it right, I either strain a relationship or have to sell furniture just to pay the bills...
And now my update:
I've recently recieved an injection of Testosterone to balance out my girly squeals of playing as Knives Chau... a friend bought me a copy of Halo: Reach and my dad gave me Call of Duty Black Ops, now I'm back to being a bloodthirsty soldier when I'm not squealing in delight for Knives Chau's badassery in Scott Pilgrim

Zombie mode is just a novelty to me now... it's not really fun anymore, but it is a good distraction from all the douchebags who rage when someone doesn't let them win.

your brother have a made up char living with his? or someone he know in real life? (the reason why i asked that is cause, i was thinking about living with my sis on sims. (i know i already told you that but.... i didn't wanna sound confusing.) o///o
