I like sitting on the porch and listening to birds, and sometimes reading. I like listening to birds and other spring-ish sounds.

My dad and I went for a walk at Blue Marsh (local lake)... no music = less fun walking...

Since the weather's improving during the day lately, I'm probably going to take some time to walk around a bit more. There's not much scenery around here, but ... it can't hurt.

Ugh, yard work tomorrow... the trees are blooming and it's not raining. I might as well get it done before the Hom(o)eowner's association decides to bitch about the lawn.

I wish the trees were blooming here. It is raining right now. I got wet running out of the art room to the bus today and I had my art project with me that I was almost finished with. I was trying my very hardest to keep it dry, but to no avail. D:

Aww. It snowed a little last night. I made a WTF face an anger since I had to walk to the gas station with my sister.

the soil where I live is too contaminated for me to care about what trees bloom... as much as I would like cherry blossoms to bloom, I probably won't get to see them. I have to actually go to a "nature preserve" to see them bloom... sad to say that no one really gives a damn about them here, the sakura trees are pitiful in said "preserves"

I love cherry blossom trees. ^.^
We're not getting snow anymore...yet. It's just supposed to rain a lot. And since the snow has melted, it's been muddy.

We planted a cherry blossom tree at our school for whatever the reason. *shrugs* It's a cute little baby right now.
Rain all weekend. Hoorah.

I want rain. Well, I want a thunderstorm, actually, since I absolutely love those, but they usually only hit during summer. Le sigh.

For Colorado, winter lasts until about ... May, from what I've been told.
... which brings me back to memories of freezing rain during my graduation, le sob. YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY WE DIDN'T MOVE IT INSIDE?! Because a gang was threatening to shoot us all up that night. We kept it outside so we had room to flee if they opened fire. What. the. fuck.

Oh finally having swords played in my favor... my lawnmower didn't want to start, so I just went bushido on my grass. My neighbors complimented my skill and my mom was surprised I could get it done so well... if I'm lucky, I'll get to keep a scythe so I won't have to dull my blades next time.
