If your cable/satellite provider offers it, I suggest watching Boomerang if you want to see some of the best from the 90's in terms of cartoon network... yeah Boomerang is still for the most part just the ancient hanna-barbara cartoons from like the 70's but those are slowly being phased out for the newer 90's gems that are pretty much deemed ancient by Cartoon Network's new demographic.
What I'm not liking most about CN right now is that when a show I like is getting really good, they just up and cancel it (Young Justice, Beware the Batman) and I know it isn't because of ratings... Turner Networks cancel a lot of what I like because I'm not the demographic that they are marketing to and yet unlike the HUB (who does really well by the way with MLP though I'm not a fan) they don't just adjust the business model.

hmmm...id have cable or satellite for now i've been using my iPod as a tv now. every since the 90's cartoons got moved to boomerang i was like "huh?" while shocked at the sametime, cause it got me unexpected at first. and for the 70's cartoons...is the blak and white Micky mouse cartoon on boomerang made in the 70's?
i so know how that feel kira...the samething happened to me too with animes and cartoons i like so much *shrugs* it's called cliff hanger...thats what i thought. *shrugs*

Mickey Mouse is a Disney property, so I'd say no... Boomerang has mostly Hanna-Barbara stuff like "The Jetsons" or "The Flintstones" (Scooby-Doo is another one and it's still quite popular on Boomerang), as far as I know majority of Boomerang's shows are in color so it's not that ancient (also less offensive because of certain things in the older episodes that is deemed inappropriate now).
Cliffhanger endings usually set up for another season or for at least another episode to conclude things, when there's no payoff it kind of ruins everything you know? I mean yeah... Cliffhangers in theory are really great for fanfiction but they are terrible ways to end a series when you know it's gonna get cancelled.

thats true about Micky mouse being a Disney property...idk why boomerang played Micky mouse old cartoons before. *shrugs* and thats also true about Boomerang has mostly Hanna-Barbara things like "The Jetsons","The Flintstones" and Scooby-Doo. i'm curious though what made them moved the 90's cartoons to boomerang in the first place? unless you already told me *embarrassed*
hmmm, thats true as well kira. you might call me silly for this but...i always consider cliff hangers as (when a anime goes off when it feels like it's more to it without the "to be continued..." added) btw anime came in my mind first thats why i made a example out of it and cause thats what i've seen it on more*^^*) but yah...i think i remembered seeing "to be continued" happened and it turned out no seasons cause i guess they changes their minds and decided to wait or never make another part at all? *thinking) and i also agree on that as well...really. .-.

90's cartoons are old now, which this decade being when many series will be turning twenty, and Boomerang's shtick is to show old cartoons, hence why they are being aired there.
