Didja know those crispy kreme doughnuts don't ever mold? Neither does Papa John pizza?

I didn't know Krispy Kreme or Papa Johns, although I had a feeling about the latter. I cleaned up my boyfriend's room once and found the crust under his bed... along with an empty box or two.
Also, McDonald's french fries won't decompose. One person left a bag in his car for 18 months, and nothing. >.<

The only reason I know about those two foods is because my history teacher in, oh, seventh grade strung some Papa John's from his ceiling and all the slices did was curl a wee bit, and then my lit teacher followed suit with some of those doughnuts.

Isn't it weird the crap they put into foods to make them not decompose?

I'm sure they decompose... maybe they were just in an environment where it took longer

Maybe the decomposition doesn't happen because they weren't exposed to the appropriate germs that make the process occur.

The environment the fries experiment was with were just in glass jars with those loose lids. While it could certainly hinder any decomposition, there was still an open air exchange... the guy who did it was Morgan Spurlock... I can probably find a Youtube link of it.

Aah, Morgan Spurlock. His Super Size Me movie caused him to spend a year or two losing what took him thirty days to gain - fat and unhealthiness.
And then he decides to do that Thirty Days show. Hurhur.

I didn't see a lot of the 30 Days show... always had it on at an inconvenient time.

I had to watch a couple of episodes in my senior English class ... part of our social action projects or something ...

The one where he and his darlin' lived with minimum wages, and another where some close-minded white Christian dude had to live with some Muslims.
